E-Waste Program 2021

In conjunction with Environmental Day ( Hari Alam Sekitar) , the city councils of Perak participated in collecting household E-Waste to raise awareness on proper disposal of E-Waste. Edsha Solutions, a DOE- licensed company for SW 110, along with other contractors participated in the collection of E-Waste throughout the month of October. A whopping 213.6 tons of E-Waste was collected in which Edsha Solutions Sdn Bhd collected about 102.6 tons with the help of Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh , Majlis Daerah Kerian Majlis Daerah Lenggong, Daerah Tanjung Malim and Majlis Daerah Tapah.

This program was a joint initiative between DOE Perak and the City Councils of Perak to stay true to Perak's slogan , "Perak Bumi Lestari".
